-Disclaimer- This happened months ago. I am a total slacker.
Well, Nj got his first haircut. He was looking a little shaggy, so it was time! He wasn’t sure about the whole process at first – he couldn’t find his hands through the cape, he wasn’t sure why Ashley was coming at him with sharp objects…But he was fine once she gave him a new toy to play with

And BECAUSE I am such a procrastinator, it is already time for haircut #2! I promise, I am going to start blogging more often. I am serious!
And a big shout out to our amazing stylist, Ashley Strotman, Owner of Perfectly Posh Salon and Boutique! Check out their awesome stylists and NEW nail salon!
Miss Aniston’s arrival countdown has begun! 4 weeks or so and I will get to meet the little girl that has been draining my wallet for about 6 months! Of course, not her fault, I am just so excited to see her in bows and dresses and tutus, and of course, take her pictures!
I can’t wait to see my best friend become a mom. I can’t wait for her to see her daughter for the 1st time, and feel that love and bond that she has yet to feel in her life.
Her mom, aunt, Katie, and I threw her a pickles and ice cream shower. It was adorable and so much fun! Miss Aniston was of course spoiled rotten, and I don’t think she needs a thing before her arrival. Everything is ready to go but baby!
I also drug Erin outside to grab a few photos before she wouldn’t let me anymore
E – you are beautiful. I love you!

We lost a dear friend today, one of the best men ever to be blessed to walk this earth. I am finding it difficult to put together my thoughts about David. He was an AMAZING man. He would never hesitate to help someone out. He was a quiet, strong, and caring. He loved what he did, he lived to be outside. And most of all, he loved his wife, Amy. I knew David before and after he met Amy, and they were two different David’s. Amy brought out everything amazing in Dave that he was too shy to share with the world. They were the definition of soul mates, an example of what married life should be.
Dave fought a horrible cancer, called Soft Tissue Sarcoma, that attacked him in multiple parts of his body for over 3 years. This is a very rare cancer, and much research is still needed. He was determined to beat this, but God ultimately decided he needed our soldier with him instead, and with him, a little piece of our hearts went too. Amy once told me that she found comfort in knowing that, since they could never have kids of their own, that her David would be up in heaven comforting and helping the children who had left their families too early as well. I hope those parents know that their children are very lucky to have him.
The arrangements of his life celebration will be on Monday, March 15th.

I have a very dear friend who is very talented AND she keeps my boys melons warm in the winter!!!
I met Anne Marie through the awesome world of babywearing via TBW. She now makes hats. I take pictures of said hats. We LOVE these hats

Seriously, these hats are AWESOME. They are the only hats Nj will keep on his head! And let’s face it – they are super duper cute.
Go to her shop now and get them while they are hot. And bask in the glory of the Wolff cuteness while you are there
So my best friend, Katie, and I come up with big, fun ideas. Frequently.
The most recent – The Orange Truck.
I think it was our second best idea to date
(Incase you were wondering, the 1st was her New Years Eve Wedding)
I think you will agree

See, I told you it was a great idea
Has it really been 10 years since we graduated high school?!?! Apparently so, because my reunion was this past Saturday, and Nate’s is this week! I have to admit, I feel old. It seems like just yesterday, we were walking across that stage and starting the next chapters in our lives as *gasp* adults! Well 2 or 3 chapters later, not many of us have really grasped the “adult” part yet, but have realized that time sure does fly!
DHHS Class of ‘99

Oh yea, and I have a little announcement…Ok, so not so little. HUGE in fact

Yep, you guessed it
BABY STAHL is a cookin’! Erin is due April 19th – dangerously close to charing a birthday with BB!!!!! WE LOVE YOU and we are SO EXCITED
It was a hard secret to keep! I wanted to shout off the rooftops and couldn’t get the smile off my face for days! That is one lucky little bean growing in that belly

And speaking of amazing moms…if you haven’t checked out Taryn’s blog in a little while - head on over there right now. Taryn is an inspiration, and I am honored to have her as a friend.
Dave and Amy raised….get this….
$5,512.22 for the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative!!!! That is amazing. THEY are amazing. These two are such an inspiration to everyone around them.
The clouds decided to join in on the fun, and it was COLD all day! Can you believe it? In the middle of July, we were freezing! But fun was had by all, if you can’t tell by the pictures
Ignore the stunning women in the front and the Dude trying to ruin our picture, and focus your attention to the left

Seriously, it is a golf outing…what could they be conspiring about?

The Sherwin boys

Mom’s famous line of the day, “I hate this game.”

This might be the funniest picture of the day (well, the series of pictures is, but I will only post this one) Look at the ground near Katie’s feet

After one too many trips to the beer cart….I believe ALL of these carts are in MOTION during these pictures (and yes, I almost wrecked us trying to get these pictures, as I was driving as well!)

Had to add just one more of Katie

Golfing

I wish I would have gotten more pictures of everyone else at the outing
I didn’t get a single one of Dave and Amy, or everyone’s bracelets and tshirts
It is also International Sarcoma Awareness Week, and our luminaries are out!

The rain didn’t keep us down! We had a GREAT weekend
I have been home since last Wednesday, so having to be back in the office on Monday was pretty depressing. I miss my boys!
Friday night we went to the Independence celebration with the Woolridge’s and the Murphy’s. BB and Shakers had a big time riding rides!

Mr. Grant

As tradition, we headed to Nick and Kathy’s for the Edgewood Parade.
My babywearing entourage - All 3 babies fell asleep during the parade!

Max Attack! He is getting so big, I can’t believe he is already 8 months old. He is crawling like a champ and is DYING to walk already!

It rained the rest of the day
We hung out inside, but BB was dying to go outside and play in the rain. I put swimtrunks on him, and he ran downstairs screaming, “Uncle Dennis, get nakey and play in the rain with me!”

So the night of the 4th, we went to Bubba and Sugar Tit’s to play the Wii. Sunday it continued to rain, so we had a lazy day and then headed to dinner and the Edgewood fireworks. BB even rode in the go-cart (entry to come) We had a wonderful weekend!
For those who don’t know, my friend David has a type of cancer called Sarcoma. He has also just recently found out that his cancer is back for the 5th, YES, the 5th time. He is hosting a charity golf outing next month to raise money for Sarcoma research. PLEASE consider signing up for the golf outing, or even just for dinner, or heck, even a $5 donation to the cause.
This money is not going to help Dave and Amy – even though it should. They are sending it all in for Sarcoma research, so hopefully a cure can be found for this horrible cancer in the future and no one has to suffer like they have.
Please, please join us. At this point, I am sending this to everyone in my address book and begging because it would make David’s day. And in the midst of all of his horrible days, he deserves a good one.
Please see Amy’s note below, as well as the links to the forms she has attached.
See you at the links on the 18th!
~Heather
Hello all,
With David being sick AGAIN, I’m trying to find all ways to keep his fragile spirits up. So, I need your help.
As most of you by now know – David wanted so badly to host a charity golf outing this year benefiting Sarcoma research funding. He just want’s to do all he can to prevent others from suffering as he repeatedly has – is from this horrific cancer. As you can imagine, this latest reoccurrence has put a damper on things. That does not mean he isn’t anxious for me to come in from the mailbox in the afternoon to hear who has sent their registration in. He so badly wants this to be a HUGE success.
So – here is the breakdown…
2:00 scramble requires 120 golfers prepaid 10 days prior. I have 27 golfers paid. We need 93 more paid golfers by the 10th of July. Ouch – I know.
I don’t want to let him down. I know it is a far reach. Believe me when I say that I understand times are tough! I just want to give it one last shot. For him. For his dream of saving others. At a time when all he should care about is saving himself…
So – recruit – recruit – recruit people. Thanks to David’s best friend Steve, we have great gifts/door prizes, we’ll have cold beer, great food, an excellent time and a tax write-off. $80.00 is a deal. It is giving up one meal out and a weeks worth of your fancy coffee… Yep – that is begging. I know, it isn’t beneath me at this point. Don’t worry about being a pro golfer… This will be the most laid-back round of your life.
If for whatever reason you are not in to it – we are OK with that! Truly. Like I said, this is giving it one last shot. All I ask is that you spread the word. Time is running out.
Before I close – THANKS to those of you who have already either donated or registered for golf. There aren’t words to express how much we appreciate that! Maybe you have friends/family/neighbors who might want to tag along????
As always, if you have any questions – let me know!
Below are links to the 3 different registration forms. The 1st fully details the outing itself with the registration from on page two. The second link is for those not wanting to golf, but want to come to the dinner at the golf course that follows the outing. The third is for those who would like to make a donation without participating on the 18th.

I can’t believe you are 2. It seems like just yesterday I was standing at the head of your mommy’s bed while she pushed for over 2 hours to get you out
To this day, you are still pretty stubborn. But your adorableness makes up for it! We love you!
Some pictures from Blake’s “ball” party!
His present from Mom and Dad

The pinata…He swings a bat like his Daddy
Hopefully, his uncles will teach him what ball sports are!

Luke and his super cool hairdo

And our first family picture! Thanks Erin!

Here are a few shots from Blake’s 2 year and Max’s 6 month photo session
More here

The best shot I could get of the both of them,

that didn’t look this this…

Poor Max has allergies, so we had to take his session indoors so the poor little guy could open his big blue eyes

One more of my beautiful Godson, I can’t believe he is 2!

I was supposed to take these pictures 2 weeks ago, but we all know what happened. And then life just kept getting in the way. I finally made it over to see Mr. Grant again, and I wanted to get some cute-o pictures.
He had other plans.

and…

So Photographer Heather turned into Aunt Heather, and a few minutes later, we were able to get this cuteness

and this…

and this…

and finally this…

And then he got mad at me again….so we called it a day
I love newborns
I apologize for this post being sooooo late!
The hottest day of the year thus far was of course the day of the March for Babies walk! Tiffany, being 9 months preggo got a hold of a wheelchair, and rode her way around the city
The downfall to that being that Luke pushed, so she had to endure 3 hours of Sherwin Williams talk between Nate and Durbin
Thank you to everyone who donated to the cause in Carter’s name.

Grant wasn’t supposed to arrive until May 11 – but he had other plans. On May 1st, Tiffany and Luke welcomed Grant Preston into the world, weighing 7lbs 5oz and 19 inches long.
He is one lucky kid. Not only does he have parents and family and friends who adore him, he has one special angel looking down on him
We had such a fun weekend! It started on Saturday with Brayden’s 3rd birthday party! I can’t believe he is almost 3. He requested a Handy Manny Birthday party, so I made him an outfit, found him a Handy Manny toolbelt, and attempted to make a cute cake…
Birthday attire

The cake. I wanted to make a toolbox cake, but it didn’t quite transform into a toolbox. I was pretty happy with the results though, even though I put enough red food coloring in it to poisen a small animal.

Blowing out his candles

We had a great day, thank you so much to everyone who loves this little guy as much as we do. He wouldn’t be such the awesome kid he is without the love and support from every single one of you.

Can you believe he is already 3 months old? I feel like it was just yesterday I was visiting them at the hospital. Katie took his 3 month pictures and she did a great job!
My absolute favorite!
You can see all of Katie’s shots in her Picasa album
Thanks to my 2 best friends in the whole world, I attended the most perfect “sprinkle” for baby Nolan yesterday.

It was held at the cutest little tea room on Main St. in Florence, Yesterdays. We highly recommend it (and the almond cookie tea)!

Katie is becoming a pro at the diaper cakes
And Erin made the cutest cupcakes.

And introducing to the blog, Loren’s baby bump!

Thank you so much to everyone who came, it meant so much to me to celebrate our second little miracle!
Happy 2nd Birthday Grayson! B had a blast on Sunday at his party, so thanks to Deana for making it so special and memorable for the boys! B is still talking about it.
Birthday Boy

I love the many faces of Grayson!

Deana and her Mother-in-law made these ADORABLE Wonder Pets capes for the boys!

All the boys eating their cupcakes and ice cream!

An old friend of mine was in for Thanksgiving, and she had the idea for us to get together for a playdate before they headed home. So B and I met Taryn & Ethan along with Deana & Grayson for our first outing at Totter Otterville at Johnny’s Toys! I have to tell you, if this place isn’t crowded, it is the perfect indoor play area for toddlers! If it is crowded, forget it.

And a few more in our November album. We can’t wait to see you guys again!!!
Little Max!

And of course, my beautiful godson
