Our Godson Blake was Baptized on November 4th. He was a trooper through it all, from the dress to the dunkin’. We are so blessed to have this little man in our lives.
As most of you know, one of my best friends is getting married in June ‘08. Erin (aka Curly) and Brian (aka Dude) found an amazing photographer in Indiana and had their engagement pictures taken a few weeks ago! As most of you know, a very good friend of mine has been diagnosed with cancer. He has been battling his health for over a year now, and has just had brain surgery to remove 2 lumps in his brain. There is still another on his lung. He will begin both radiation and chemotherapy soon. The bills are piling up, and this is a stress that they should not have to worry about. All their strength needs to go to getting Dave better right now. Please please please clear your night on 11/23 to help Dave and Amy. They are the kind of people who will drop everything to help out anyone in need, and it is our turn to help them.
I don’t ask for much, but this year for Christmas, I don’t want them to have to worry anymore. Please help me to help them, and put yourself in their shoes for one minute. He is only 31 years old, and is too young to have to fight this battle, much less fight it and worry about losing everything they have worked so hard for as well. Please join me at this benefit to celebrate Dave’s life and his strength to get through this horrible disease.
