It is going to go straight to his head….

B got to model a few times at the Babywearing Conference this past weekend. First, with mom during the fashion show (in a pink carrier, non-the-less) and with dad during the Babywearing Dads class. He loves to tell everyone that he was “on the stage, I was a model“. I have a feeling we will see him on a stage in the future.

Happy Father’s Day!

Well, we had a wonderful Father’s Day….minus the fact that we didn’t have any fathers to celebrate it with Papa Sandy couldn’t get in from New York, and Papa Nick is in Germany! So it was Nate’s special Father’s Day all to himself!

First, he woke up to this (B insisted we make Cinnamon Toast for Daddy)

Then Nate spent most of the day watching Golf and then we spent the afternoon at the pool. It was a beautiful day!

And of course, a tribute to our awesome Dads. Thank you so much for all of the love and support you provide us! We couldn’t ask for more!

The Fire(tr)uck

Brayden plays with an old fire(tr)uck at Grandma Kathy & Papaw Nick’s house that used to belong to Dennis. He asks to play with it EVERY Sunday. However, he cannot say the word, fire(tr)uck correctly. Dennis, Loren, and Ben think it is hilarious, and make him say it over and over, and Ben is even now known as the (tr)ucker. Loren begged me to get it on video, because she is always afraid that next Sunday he is going to come over know how to say (tr)uck correctly.

Warning – There is unintentional profanity in this video

Oh, and the main reason I tried to get this video is because I was asking him about his knees, and he tells me “Mom, those are old news“. I hope everyone has as much laughter in their lives as we do!

Happy Anniversary

To us!

I know this entry is a little late, but Nate surprised me for our Anniversary by wisking me away for the weekend! We had a great weekend, saw a BEAR, shopped, ate, and relaxed. And as days like today arise, I remind myself over and over again how lucky I am to have found my soulmate. Our wedding day was the second happiest day of my life, and one I will never ever forget ;) I love you Nathan. You are my rock. I am forever grateful that God put you on that picnic table in August of 1999!

Here we are eating Mexican on Saturday at a place called No Way Jose’s Cantina, because 4 years ago to that day we were in Mexico! We could have sat there all day long!

B-Dub is 1! The day of his birthday party was BEAUTIFUL! He loved his cake, but it was almost too cute to eat!
